Here comes the Oscars... |
| This year between all the nominees for the Oscar Award you can find several debutant directors. We had the pleasure to screen two films that mach this criteria. Regarding Georges Clooney’s last film there is no point of telling you more. After Venice, London, New York, Zagreb and now Rotterdam we could imagine George the Handsome with a nomination if not the Golden Statue. What came as bigger surprise was a first film of an American artist Miranda July “Me and You and Everyone We Knowâ€. Created out of enthusiasm and not the Hollywood studio, this beautiful film found its place among the nominees.
