Kiziltan's film, The German-Turkish coproduction, premiered at this year's Berlinale and won a main prize Heart Of Sarajevo at Sarajevo Film Festival. The movie is centered around Muharrem (Erkan Can), humble introvert who lives a solitary existence of prayer and sexual abstinence, adhering strictly to the most severe Islamic doctrines. After one day, the leaders of a rich and powerful religious group recruit him as rent collector for their numerous properties, Muharrem is thrown into the modern outside world he has successfully avoided for so long.  The balance of his devotion is now upset. Except two films that you will be able to see on 5. ZFF, other nominees for the European Discovery prize are 'Gegenüber' ('Counterparts') by Jan Bonny and the winner of the audience prize in Sarajevo - Israeli dramedy 'Bikur ha-tizmoret' ('The Band's Visit') by Eran Kolirin.
