ZFF Honours Bato Čengić |
| In this year's programme My First Movie In Memoriam we will screen ‘Playing Soliders' (1967.). a debut feature by Bahrudin Bato Čengić. In this way, ZFF honours recently deceased director, one of the greatest Bosnian film authors. Bato Čengić was born 1931. in Maglaj and studied direction in Paris and Belgrade. He is remembered as an author of numerous acclaimed documentary and short films, as well as tv reportages and series. His work marked ex Yugoslavian film history, especially his films ‘Playing Soliders', ‘The Role of My Family in the Revolution', ‘Life of a Shock Force Worker', ‘Heads or Tails' and many more. |
