The Ian Curtis biopic 'Control' is leading the way at this year's British Independent Film Awards with an impressive 10 nominations. Anton Corbijn's black and white tale of the life and death of the Joy Division singer faces stiff competition from the Anand Tucker drama 'And When Did You Last See Your Father', which has seven nominations. Among ten nominations, there's Best Actor one for newcomer Sam Riley, who played Curtis in Control, while director Corbijn is up for best director. Winners will be named on November 28, with a ceremony taking place at the Roundhouse in London, hosted by James Nesbitt. Guardian.
