PALUNKO 5 Screenwriting Workshop

Just like in previous festival years, Croatian Film Association is organizing the Palunko Screenwriting Workshop during Zagreb Film
Festival. This fi fth edition of the workshop is not changing its winning formula (12 attendants, 5 days, 3 mentors, 1 awarded work) and
is off ering the audiences another premiere! Namely, our Checkered program includes the fi lm ‘Taxideyo', screenplay by Filip Peruzović,
awarded best screenplay at last year's workshop. The best screenplay of this year's workshop would also be turned into a fi lm produced
by Croatian Film Association and Propeler Film and premiered at Zagreb Film Festival 2008.
The mentor team (Irena Krčelić, Goran Tribuson i Tomislav Zajec) will select twelve workshop candidates in two rounds of competition
to teach them basics in screenwriting and assist them in producing their own screenplays. In addition, all candidates will attend a pitching
workshop as well, since they will be expected to give public presentations of their works.
Palunko was launched as project in 2003 to provide systematic education in screenwriting through its competitions, lectures and
workshops.
